Our plastic surgeons, Dr. Darrell Brooks, Dr. Gregory Buncke, Dr. Rudolf Buntic, Dr. John Owsley, and Dr. Bauback Safa, have a combined total of over 75 years of experience in Cosmetic or Aesthetic, Reconstructive, and Microsurgery. Co-directed by Dr. Gregory Buncke and Dr. John Owsley, the Plastic Surgery Institute of San Francisco is partnered with The Buncke Clinic of San Francisco and San Mateo, an Institute established in 1970 and recognized worldwide for its specialty of Reconstructive and Microsurgery of the Hand. With extensive experience in microsurgery of the hand, reconstructive surgery, and facial and body plastic surgery, our plastic surgeons are experts in the field of aesthetic or cosmetic procedures. Our surgeons have diverse backgrounds that have collectively led them to revolutionize plastic surgery through the development of different techniques and approaches to surgical procedures that have been adapted worldwide.
People are fatter than they have ever been. As we seem to get heavier and fat builds in areas around our body we would rather it not, we look for ways to reduce body fat, particularly around our belly and thighs. Fat is something no one wants to live with, and as we continue to get more overweight, science now has offered us alternatives. Fat reduction is now possible thanks to new breakthroughs in treatment. Reducing body fat is something we all want to do and in many cases satisfactory results may be possible in just one or two treatments sessions. New non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments utilize the latest in lasers and energy-based devices to deliver fat reduction with less recovery and shorter treatments.
The decision to have a fat reduction procedure is a serious one, with a number of pros and cons, and the best course of action is to choose a physician with ample experience in fat reduction. A personal consultation with such a doctor will help you understand the treatment options available, make clear the risks and possible outcomes, and the cost for such a procedure. Call today to schedule a consultation.
